gingham style

Good Evening, my lovelies!

I'm back with another transition to fall outfit! I love, love, love the fall. It's by far my favorite season. The crisp air, cozy sweaters, and perfectly chilly temps just draw me right it. Today, I'm showing you an outfit that I love. It features one of my favorite fall trends--Gingham!

What girl doesn't love a little bit of sparkle?

Polo: Ralph Lauren (similar)
Gingham button up: American Eagle (similar)
Cardigan: Hollister (old)
Shoes: Guess (old)
Necklaces: La De Da and Madly Posh

Sorry for the lack of posting! After all those storms here in Poky my internet has been painfully slow if it works at all. We're probably going to have someone come look at it because we can't figure out what is wrong with it. When my internet is working correctly, I will definitely have more posts. :)

Preppy in Plaid + Honorary Kitty Photo Bombers!

This is going to be a short post, but I'm pretty sure this is one of my favorite outfits of all time. I freaking love it.

For those of you who don't know, I have two cats. Smokey, a Russian blue kitten,  and Jeffrey, a 11 year old Maine Coon/Persian mix. They are superb photobombers. And sorry in advance for scaring you with my gross makeup free face.

Smokey posing like the model he is.

Jeffrey doesn't like the paparazzi, I guess.

Jeffrey has the cutest face.

Shirt: Stolen from my mom's closet. Sorry, Mom.
Cardigan: J Crew (old)
Shorts: Woolrich (thrifted)
Pearls: Vintage
Shoes: Head Over Heels, $5 at a sale last year.
Bag: Tommy Hilfiger, $20 at TJ Maxx

4th of July

Good Morning!

I was going to post this last night, and then...nope. I was so tired! If you guys didn't know, the fireworks in Bannock County were delayed for about 30 minutes because of the wind. I came inside at almost midnight and passed out.

My day started out with the Fourth of July parade. The Alameda Middle School cheerleaders were in it this year. We had to be there at 8:30 am and the parade started at 10:30. Honestly, the one thing I had to say about it was that it was SO HOT. Sweat was dripping from our faces and we were exhausted.

Shoutout to the guy I saw in the Fluttershy shirt. Sorry I scared you.

The start of the parade

Miss Pocatello and Miss Bannock Teen (correct me if I messed that up! :) )

A nice gal in the parade was letting kids pet her horse! How sweet!

 Go Jackets!

I'm not even going to lie, when I got home I fell asleep until 4 ish. My family doesn't go to barbecues or anything, we just have a fun day getting in the pool and eating with each other :) It's just my parents and me, so it's nothing huge.  We had chicken salad sandwiches for lunch and fillet mignon with fettuccine alfredo for dinner.

Now for the fun part...my outfit! I was in my cheer outfit/sleeping most of the day, so I just have the outfit I wore when it got cooler at night.

Selfie! :)

Blazer: Macy's (similar)
Shirt: Tommy Hilfiger (similar)

Hope you had a happy 4th!
